Manor Estates, Lamara Heights, Fairway Oaks, Kensington Park and Magnolia Park represent some of Savannah’s most outstanding mid-century modern residential developments.  From the Stumpf residence built in 1954 by architect John Ahern in the classic “atomic ranch” style, the classically modern Harvey residence built in 1950 to the stunning Lane house built in 1962  by architects Helfrich and Grantham, the Modernist movement is very well represented in the new suburban developments  built in the 1950’s and 1960’s.
